She had her surgery ($900+) and then went for recuperation at a friend's farm in South Carolina. She finally received clearance from her orthopedic doctor and made the long journey to New Jersey, where she was in a foster home for less than two days before she was adopted by a lovely couple who recognized what a gem she is! They are prepared to spoil her rotten for the rest of her life, including vacations in the Hamptons!
